"WRONG" DECISIONS
Wrong decisions - the details
SORRY THIS IS SO OUT OF DATE!! THE LIST WILL GET UPDATED AGAIN IN THE SECOND WEEK OF JULY - THERE'S AT LEAST 10 WRONG DECISIONS TO ADD TO THIS LIST.
This is not an exhaustive list - it's as good as we've been able to do given the limitation of not being able to watch international cricket 24/7!
Below, we've given a verdict on whether or not the result of the game was affected by the decision - this is purely subjective and can't be proved in any way. Often it is impossible to say if a wrong decision has changed the course of a game although we know it might have done, which is why you'll see a few "who knows?" as verdicts. Wrong decisions from the England v New Zealand and West Indies v Australia series are yet to be added.

88. Ishant Sharma given not out to Harris
When:Day 3, 3rd Test, India v South Africa, 13/04/08 - scorecard
Umpire:Billy Doctrove
The decision:Given not out although it was described as "plumb" by various reporters.
State of game:India were 319 for 9 trying to increase their 1st innings lead at the start of the 3rd day. Sharma was on 14 and didn't add to his score, but India did add a further 6 runs before the innings was wrapped up.
The result:India won by 8 wickets.
Cricket Burble verdict:This wrong decision could easily have influenced the result.
87. Yuvraj Singh given not out to Amla
When:Day 2, 3rd Test, India v South Africa, 12/04/08 - scorecard
Umpire:Asad Rauf

Cricket Burble verdict:This wrong decision could easily have influenced the result.
85. Kallis given not out LBW to Sreesanth
When:Day 2, 2nd Test, India v South Africa, 04/04/08 - scorecard
Umpire:Billy Doctrove
The decision:Given not out although Cricinfo suggests the ball would have hit middle stump.

The result:South Africa won by an innings and 90 runs.

State of game:South Africa were 381 for 5 batting first and this should have made them 381 for 6. Boucher was on 10 and went on to make 70.
The result:A boring draw.
Cricket Burble verdict:Given that the match was only half way through the 3rd innings by the end of the 5th day, this decision is unlikely to have changed things.

When:Day 5, 3rd Test, New Zealand v England, 26/03/08 - scorecard
Umpire:DJ Harper
The decision:Given not out although replays showed the ball hitting middle and leg about two thirds of the way up.

The result:England won by 121 runs.
Cricket Burble verdict:This wrong decision didn't change the result.
80. Ryan Hinds given out caught behind off Muralitharan
When:Day 5, 1st Test, West Indies v Sri Lanka, 26/03/08 - scorecard
Umpire:Simon Taufel
The decision:Given out caught behind despite no evidence to show that the ball hit the bat - the bat looked like it hit the ground which would have made a noise that Tuafel probably mistook for an edge.
State of game:West Indies were 229 for 5 with Hinds on 10 - this wrongly took the score to 229 for 6.
The result:Sri Lanka won by 121 runs.
Cricket Burble verdict:This probably did change the result given that the game was in the final session when Sri Lanka took the 10th wicket.

When:Day 3, 2nd Test, New Zealand v England, 15/03/08 - scorecard
Umpire:Rudi Koertzen
The decision:Given not out LBW although replays showed the ball would have hit the stumps after hitting Pietersen's back leg.
State of game:England were 145 for 3 trying to extend a decent lead after both 1st innings. Pietersen was on 10 and was later run out backing up at the bowlers end after a straight drive from Bell on 17.

Umpire:Steve Davis
The decision:Given out LBW although replays showed the ball pitched outside leg stump.

When:4th match, New Zealand v England, 20/02/08 - scorecard

The result:A tie - England scored 340 for 6, NZ scored 340 for 7.
